ERM Automatismes has successfully implemented a cutting-edge ErmaSmart production line at the AFPA center in Saint Avold, Moselle (57). This state-of-the-art didactic production line is designed for Industry 4.0 and features a modular system that can be used in both packaging and assembly modes, providing unmatched flexibility and autonomy.
At the AFPA center, this innovative system has been installed in a straight-line layout, optimizing the workflow for various industrial applications.
Composition of the ErmaSmart Line
The ErmaSmart production line is fully customizable and includes five key stations, each contributing to a more efficient and automated manufacturing process :
- Collaborative 2D bin picking & assembly-screwing robot : This multifunctional station handles bin picking for jars and bottles, and performs assembly and screwing tasks with precision. The advanced robotic system ensures accurate handling and increased productivity.
- Dosaxe granular dosing station : This station excels at on-the-fly granular dosing, measuring and dispensing precise amounts of granules in a controlled manner for high-speed, accurate production.
- Collaborative capping & assembly robot : Specialized in capping jars/bottles or assembling gear trains, this robotic station guarantees secure, airtight capping and precise assembly.
- Pick & place cartesian XYZ station : Ideal for packaging processes, this station handles jars, bottles, boxes, and pallets using a 3-axis Cartesian system for fast and accurate placement.
- Vertical storage Unit : This station provides efficient storage solutions and automatic order preparation, using a vertical dynamic system for optimized space and quick product access.
