#2: Dosaxe

The Dosaxe workstation is an automated system for “on-the-fly” filling of jars/bottles of different sizes as part of a continuous production process. When a container is detected on the conveyor belt, the upper linear axis ensures the filling while following the container.

#A: Manufacturing recycled plastic pellets

The Recycled plastic pellets manufacturing process allows for recycling within the training center / university (e.g. LDPE / PET plastic caps and bottles).

May be used with ErmaSmart, to feed the Dosaxe dosing station with pellets):

  • Plastic shredder/granulator with spare parts (especially suitable for maintenance activities)
  • Automated pneumatic transfer of pellets from Shredder/Granulator toDosaxe
  • IIoT gateway and smart sensors for predictive maintenance

May be used for the manufacture of 3D printing filaments (local use or resale):

#B1: Starwheel conveyor for 90° connection

System for changing the direction of the jars/bottles on the ErmaSmart line, for L or U layout. Very interesting for mechanical activities on ErmaSmart.

  • Different coloured starwheel for each jar size
  • Torque limiter made of spring washers to ensure safety in case of jamming
  • Presence detection sensor at the input
  • 24/48V stepper motor driven by its controller
